Juan Li (BHSc, BMedSci)
Juan Li started her career in medicine in 1984 at Tianjin No. 4 Hospital in China after completing her 5 year degree in Medical Science at Tianjin Traditional Medical University. She worked at the hospital as a doctor for 11 years and was responsible for the health and wellbeing of countless patients throughout this period. Her experiences at the hospital helped her to develop her skills in both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). After moving to New Zealand and completing a Bachelor of Health Science, she has been continuing her career as an herbal medicine practitioner and acupuncturist
After nearly 34 years of practising Traditional Chinese Medicine in both China and New Zealand, Juan Li has the skills and experience needed to treat patients with a large variety of illnesses.
Internal diseases (such as stroke, headaches and migraines, anxiety and depression, gout, gall bladder and kidney stones and much more).
Gender specific diseases including gynaecological diseases and most women’s problems.
